Stop squeezing into a work life that doesn't fit.

Career + leadership coaching for mid-career women who are ready to exhale

I want That

You're objectively successful.

After doing a double take—because how are those pants back in style? Are we that old?—Past You would take a wide-eyed look around your career and ask in an awed whisper,

Wow, this is ours?!

The projects you’ve worked on.
The milestones you’ve hit.
The recognition you’ve received.
The titles you’ve held.

People ask to chat over $10 lattes (their treat!) so you can share the secrets of how you “made it.”

But there's one secret you never share publicly...

You're questioning everything about  your work life 🤫

Maybe you're thinking:

People would give up backstage Beyoncé passes to do this work, so why do I dread Monday mornings?
I’ve gotten to where I am by channeling people who don’t share my lived experience, values, and strengths. I don’t want to keep doing that for the rest of my career
Everyone keeps congratulating me on my success, but they don’t know that this is all a fluke
I've been at this organization for years, but, if I’m honest, I don't know if the direction they're headed aligns with my values
Even though my business is working, the spark is gone. This is supposed to be the dream, but it feels like I’m just clocking into a 9-5

The truth is:

You're squeezing into an off-the-rack career. It looks pretty good but feels restrictive because it wasn't designed with your strengths, values, and goals in mind

What happens when you stop squeezing?

When I first started working with Taylor I was feeling very disillusioned and lost about my options around my career as we were going through a fairly challenging reorganization. Taylor helped me find time to THINK and FEEL about what I really wanted and supported me in resparking my curiosity about my future and where I'd like to apply my talents. By the final session, I was able to think about my future with clarity and really recognize my own integrity in my next steps. It was a great experience for me and very transformative.

Director in Higher Education

Taylor asked the questions I didn't know I needed, helping me realise the full scope and breadth of my skills and experiences over the past 10 years. For the first time, I saw a unifying thread emerge, one that defines both my competencies and aspirations: connecting disciplines and people.

Project + Program Manager in a Global NGO

I'm Taylor, your Career Tailor.

I help women whose careers look great on paper stop squeezing into work lives that don't fit and start creating ones that do.

Like you, I’ve collected all the “right” experiences:

  • Worked for a Fortune 100, was the first full-time employee at a startup and have (co)founded multiple projects
  • Hundreds of hours of training in an International Coach Federation approved coach certification
  • A degree from Vanderbilt in Human and Organizational Development
  • Mindfulness, meditation, and resilience certificates
  • Over 400 coaching sessions delivered

But what matters most is that I’ve done the work of tailoring my own career.

I’ve stepped away from jobs titles, like Vice President of Operations, and bodies of work, like Inner Workout, that looked impressive but felt restrictive after a while.

Now my career looks a little weird to some people. I mean, you’re reading a sales page where I call myself a Career Tailor. But I wear it with confidence. I've built a career that plays to my strengths and gives me space to be a full human inside and outside of my work day.

You know how magnetic you feel when you’re in an outfit that expresses your style and fits just right?

That’s how I want you to feel in your work life.

My clients typically:

Look successful externally but feel insecure, stuck, or bored internally
Have racked up skills and achievements but don't see how they all connect
Want to do more meaningful work but feel trapped in the familiarity of their current situation
Are ready to develop their own way of leading and working instead of copy-pasting what everyone else is doing

The transformation

I cannot properly express my full gratitude for Taylor Morrison, her coaching style, her grounded energy, and how she's helped me achieve new ways of being in my career and life. Over the last year and a half, I've been able to do deep work of noticing in my body, expanding my definition and practice of care that I need to sustain the work I want to do and the career I want to build, and Taylor's questions and inquiry have been a key part of those shifts. I wholeheartedly recommend this caring coach for changes you're trying to make and support as you reach for the future you deserve.

This is for you if:

Your career looks impressive on paper but doesn't feel good on the inside
You're ready to stop gaslighting yourself by saying, “I should just be grateful to be here”
You want to alter your work life so that it uses your strengths and aligns with your values
You're committed to putting in the work both inside and outside of our sessions

This is not for you if:

You're looking for quick fixes or a resume rewrite
You're not ready to get honest about what isn't working
You want someone to tell you exactly what path to take next in your career
You're unwilling to roll up your sleeves and try things
You're hoping to change your circumstances without examining yourself
(Questions are a big part of my job. It's only fair that I answer some of yours.)

Frequently asked questions

Will you tell me exactly what to do?

I know how tempting it is want someone to float down in a Galinda-style bubble (Broadway lovers will get this reference!) and tell you what to do. That's not what this space is for. I don't want you to depend on me for the answers. I want to connect you to the answers that exist within. To learn more about my coaching approach, check out the Not Career Advice series and this blog post.

What happens on a discovery call?

It's probably easier to start with what doesn't happen. I don't do a hard sell and tell you this offer will self-combust at the end of our call. This call is your time. My goal is to make sure you have all the information you need to make the right decision for you. I ask you questions to get a sense of where you are now and where you'd like to be. And I encourage you to ask me as many questions as you'd like.

Can we keep working together after three months?

Absolutely! Some clients choose to continue with quarterly or monthly sessions for ongoing support. We can discuss options during our final session.

Will you edit my resume or help me with job applications?

This program focuses on the deeper work of career clarity and alignment, not tactical job search support. However, I can refer you to people who can help in those areas.

What if I don't know what I want next for my career?

You’re in the right place! That's exactly why this program exists. Don’t worry about coming to coaching with all the answers. What you need is the space and support to discover the answers within. Most clients start our work feeling confused about what feels off and end with clarity.

How quickly will I see results?

Clients often tell me about shifts in perspective and confidence within the first couple of sessions. However, sustainable career change is a process that continues beyond our three months together. Researcher Herminia Ibarra says it takes 3-5 years to make a full career transition. Our work together helps you build that initial momentum.

What if I decide I want to stay in my current role?

That's a completely valid outcome! We often think changing jobs or business models will solve everything, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes the solution is changing how you show up in your current role, setting better boundaries, or creating a fuller life outside of work.

Do you work with people who want to start their own businesses?

I do! But I want to be clear that this isn’t a business strategy program. Our work together will help you understand yourself, your strengths, and what you want out of work. As a business owner myself, I know firsthand how valuable that knowledge can be.

Ready to exhale?

The women I work with are done pretending their careers fit perfectly when they don't. They're ready to exhale, get honest, and create something better.

If that's you, let's talk.
